The Camrose Family Resource Centre

The Camrose Family Resource Centre provides services and supports for families with children 0-18 years of age.

We are a non-profit organization that provides Family Support, Family Programs, Parent Education, Developmental Screens and Family Events in the City of Camrose, and the Counties of Camrose, Flagstaff and Beaver.

As part of the Camrose & Area Family Resource Network we are dedicated to helping families by offering free programs, supports and services for children and youth 0-18 year of age, as well as their parents and caregivers.  Within our area we do this with two other partners – The Open Doors and Camrose Association for Community Living Healthy Families program.

Family Resource Networks (FRN’s) deliver prevention and early intervention services, as well as a range of supports that focus on strengthening parenting and caregiving knowledge, social supports and resources, improving child and youth development, building resiliency and fostering well-being.

Through a ‘hub and spoke’ model of service delivery.  Networks (Hubs) will coordinate these services in all geographic areas and in various cultural communities across the province.  These services will be offered directly by the network, or thought collaborative partnerships with qualified service agencies (Spokes).

Program information and referrals to any of our programs or our partners programs can be through us (the Hub) by phone, email or in person.  Families can also access the programs and supports directly through our partners.

Hours of Operation

We are located at 4823 – 51 Street, Camrose

Our office is open 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.  Programs are offered at various times and in various locations. Please consult our newsletter or Facebook page for program times and availability.  For example, drop in Indoor playground time is a program and is not offered every day.
