    Description

    A professionally trained Art Therapist and a professional member of the Canadian Art Therapy Association. Nikki offers all levels of therapy from open studio drop-ins and open weekly themed groups, to closed groups and individual art psychotherapy. No experience or artistic skill level required, as Art Therapy provides a safe space where you can express yourself without judgement or critique, often giving voice to that which has no words.

    Located at Hay Lakes Recreation Centre, the Playschool Society runs a program for 3 and 4 year olds. Funded by CDSS.  Subsidy may be available for applicants that qualify.  The 3 year old class runs from  on Tues. & Thurs. from 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. @ $65month/child; the 4 year old class runs on Tues./Wed./Thurs. from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. @ $90./month/child.

    Community Camrose
    Description

    A free home visiting program that supports your family with: having a healthy pregnancy, developing a positive relationship with your child, promoting your child’s healthy growth and development, connecting to resources and programs, building on identified strengths, working together to give your child the best start in life. Service may be available if you are pregnant, or actively parenting a child who is 0 – 3 years old, available for home visits.
    Healthy Families also provides long term support in response to the concern of substance use during pregnancy. Home visitors work directly with participants offering personalized services for up to 3 years. Your will receive support to improve health of women and their children, making steps towards a healthy independent lifestyle, connecting women to resources in community.  Services maybe available if you are pregnant or up to 6 months postpartum, self-report alcohol and/or drug use during pregnancy, are ineffectively engaged with community or have delivered a child with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder and/or using alcohol in child bearing years.  Referrals are welcomed from everyone and including self referral.
