Elder Care Planning Guide

Camrose Seniors Coalition is proud to share: Supports for the Journey: A Planning Guide to Aging in Place (in Camrose). (The guide takes up to a minute to download.) The Guide was produced as part of a larger Elder Care project funded by a Government of Canada New Horizons for Seniors grant in partnership with Camrose and District Support Services, with additional funding from Battle River Community Foundation.  Paper copies of the Guide will be distributed at several public gatherings in 2016, and will be available for viewing at various health care locations.  Project partners and the public in general are welcome to print copies for themselves or to share with others seeking information to assist them in navigating the system of services available to Camrose and area seniors.

Support for the Journey: A Planning Guide to Aging in Place includes an inventory of services, a checklist to aid in planning, and a wealth of information and things to consider, illustrated by stories that capture the complex, emotional experience of aging, of aging well, of aging challenges, and of aging in place.

Thank you so much to Mary Wilton, Elder Care Project Facilitator, Anna Radchenko of MarieGee Design, and Weston Voytecheck of UPS Store #388, for their excellent work researching, writing, designing and printing Supports for the Journey, and to all of the project partners who contributed to its production, one way or another.
