Description
Operated by the Law Society to assist people in finding a lawyer who will provide them with legal services. This information service is not connected with Legal Aid, nor does it provide any form of financially subsidized legal service.
Legal Aid Alberta provides legal services and expertise to individuals and the legal community to support fairness in the justice system. Eligibility guidelines are on its website. It is independent, publicly funded, not-for-profit organization that provides a broad range of services in family law and child welfare, adult criminal law, immigration and refugee law, youth criminal law, and some civil legal areas.
