City of Camrose Recreation Subsidy

About The Program

This program is for families or individuals who are residents of the City of Camrose or Camrose County and face financial barriers to participating in leisure activities. The facilities available through this program are operated by the City of Camrose Community Service Department.

To qualify, your total family income must be below the most recently published Low Income Cut-off (LIOC) plus 25% before tax. Income is determined by line 150 of your most recent income tax return.

Each family member will receive an Access Card that grants the user to the following benefits at a discounted rate:

• 24 drop-in credits
• 3 program registration credits
• 1 pass credit

Discounted rates are as such:

• Individuals under 18 will be required to pay 25% of the appropriate fee and have 1 associated allotment marked as used per drop-in, program, or pass purchased
• Individuals of the age of 18 and up will be required to pay 50% of the appropriate fee and have 1 associated allotment marked as used per drop-in, program, or pass purchased

How To Apply

1. Review the Recreation Facility Access Policy.
2. Bring in your and any other family members' most recent income tax return to Camrose & District FCSS (4821-51 St.) for approval.

If approved, you will receive a subsidy Access Card with an expiry one year from the time of issue and a copy of the Recreation Facility Access Rates.

Access cards are not transferable.
