Our Medical Transportation service makes health care more accessible.

How It Works

Our driver will pick you up from your home and take you to your appointment. Once your appointment is complete, we’ll drive you back home.

If there are multiple riders, we may coordinate the schedule to accommodate everyone.

Who Can Use This Service?

Transportation is available Monday to Friday for:

• Residents of the City and County of Camrose.
• Adults aged 55+

Please Note

• All riders must be able to transfer themselves into the van independently. Wheelchairs and walkers are welcome for extra support. 
• We are unable to accommodate riders who require a car seat.

Rates and Destinations

Round Trip from Camrose County to City of Camrose

‍$15.00 per passenger

Round Trip to Tofield, Daysland, Bashaw, or Wetaskiwin

$20.00 per passenger

Round Trip to Red Deer, Edmonton, Leduc, or Sherwood Park

‍$50.00 per passenger

Special Trips

‍$50.00 + $0.50 per kilometer after 150 km.

Prices are effective November 1, 2024.
Fees will be reviewed on an annual basis before December 31st of each year.

Booking Your Ride

Schedule your ride as soon as possible

Book your ride at least three (3) business days in advance.

Call with your:

• Name and phone number
• Pickup address
• Appointment details (time, full address, postal code, and phone number)

During office hours:

• Monday - Thursday: 9:00am - 12:00pm & 1:30pm - 4:00pm
• Friday: 9:00am - 12:00pm

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I bring a companion with me?

Yes, one (1) companion is welcome and free of charge, so you can have the extra support you need during your appointment. Please inform us at the time of booking.

Can I use this service for non-medical appointments?

No, this service is specifically for non-emergency medical appointments, such as doctor visits, dental appointments, mental health sessions, outpatient surgery, dialysis treatments, or physical therapy.
