If you like toe-tapping jazz tunes from the early '30s and on, delivered in a brassy blast, you'll get what you came for with this energetic group. This 18-piece band shows up with all of the old favourites in tune, and peppers some contemporary favourites in every gig. Started in 2015, Battle River Big Band is primarily comprised of band and music teachers, and seasoned musicians, living in the communities in and around Camrose and Wetaskiwin. As the Battle River runs through or near these centres, the name suits this band to a tee. The band has performed in Camrose at the Bailey Theatre, and downtown during Jaywalkers' Jamboree.

A group of avid quilters with any level of experience or expertise who meet to share ideas and enjoy quilting together.  We make quilts to support various charities, either giving quilts directly or for fundraisers.  We hold retreats a couple times a year where members work on their own projects or charity quilts.  We also share activities such as workshops, retreats or social gatherings with other guilds.

We are an informal group who model various scales of model trains.

Youth Bowling Council - ages 3-19 years. Mixed leagues - 4 nights per week, for couples and individuals for social activity. Ladies league - Wednesday afternoons. Club 55+ - open to bowlers 55 years and older, Tuesday afternoons. Special Olympics bowling once per week. Public bowling, open for bookings for private parties. Neon bowling Friday and Saturday evenings.

The Fish and Game motto is to enhance and protect all fish, wildlife and habitat. Our club is affiliated with the Alberta Fish and Game Association and is committed to defending all outdoors through our clubs projects and activities. Our main fundraiser is our annual Wild Game and Alberta Beef Banquet held annually every March. The money from this event and others goes directly back into the community. Funds are used for promoting family events, the Community Fish Pond Project, birdhouses, outdoor education sponsorships, sending kids to camp (Zone 3) and more. A fun recreational league where beginners and experienced players can enjoy playing every week. Teams will consist of eight players vs. eight players with a mix between guys/gals on the field. A roster, schedule, and basic information will be sent to members the first week of May. Meet at Camrose fields on Sunday evenings from mid-May to mid- July, 2016. Cost is $75.00.

Our Mission: to engage the community of Camrose and area in the progression and growth of football at all levels and to promote football as an alternative and vibrant affordable sport. Our Goal: to introduce as many children as possible to the game of football and to make them feel significant every day. We welcome new members to play crib every Monday night at the Mirror Lake Centre (5415 - 49 Ave., Camrose). $4.00 entry fee, 9 games with cash prizes! Doors open at 5:30 p.m., game starts at 6:30 p.m. Hot coffee provided. Crib Sunday Tournaments - held the first Sunday of every month (except July & August). Synchronized swimming combines strength, endurance and balance with flexibility, grace and beauty, and the Camrose Cygnets Synchronized Swim Club is dedicated to making the sport accessible to all swimmers in Camrose and the surrounding area. The club operates from September to April, and strives to accommodate swimmers of varying skill level.

An active group of people sharing an interest in aviation. Members are not necessarily pilots or working in the aviation industry. Monthly meetings. Special activities include a Fly-in Breakfast in May, Canadian Owners and Pilots Association (COPA) for Kids which gives an opportunity for youth to experience flying. Periodically arranges for Canadian Snowbirds to perform for our community; and assists City with maintenance of airport.

The Camrose Kodiaks are committed to community involvement. Kodiaks staff and players actively take part in numerous events within the community. The goal is to help educate and promote good citizenship in our players, and to give back our support to the community which supports us.

Camrose Minor Ball Association endeavors to provide both recreational and competitive avenues for Camrose and area athletes to participate in baseball and fastball.

CMHA exists to provide an opportunity for minors to have equal opportunity to play hockey regardless of their ability. Programs are offered to meet various levels of skill and commitment.

A group of model aircraft enthusiasts.  Meetings held first Wednesday of each month.  Membership dues $25.00 per year.  We fly our model airplanes at Alberta's Littlest Airport.

We are a group of enthusiastic pickleball players who get together to have a fun game of pickleball, enjoy some laughs and get some great exercise. We play indoors during the cold months and outside as much as we can when the weather gets warm. It is a great workout and fun for all ages! The Camrose Running Club is part of the Camrose Ski Club. The Camrose Running Club meets at 9am at the Stoney Creek Centre for a relaxed trail run through the summer months. In addition, fun track workouts are on Tuesdays at 5pm at the ECCHS track. Both run options are open to all ages and levels of experience and speed, offering a variety of distance options. The Camrose Swim Club is a competitive swim club whose main objective is to encourage its members in the development of swimming techniques in order to compete against other summer swim clubs. Runs from May through to the mid August of each year, with practice time scheduled once per day during May and June and twice per day during July and August. The club participates in 6-7 competitions at the local, regional and provincial levels.

Archery, Rifle, Handgun, Trap, Skeet, Black Powder. Note: Federal Firearms Regulations require that all persons using these facilities must be a member in good standing of a shooting sports association.

A member of Skate Canada, we are a multi-faceted club offering a wide variety of instruction to suit everyone's interests. Beginner, recreational, fun and fitness and competitive skating. Season is September to April.

The Camrose Spirals is a Precision Rope Skipping Team from Camrose AB Canada. Its members come from Camrose and several towns in the Camrose County. Since its inception in August 1991, the team has grown to include many girls and boys who range in age six to twenty. They have developed into a fine and most respected precision rope skipping team.

Enthusiastic group of table tennis players of age 16+ and over who enjoy the sport and camaraderie. Offer lessons for the first timers as well as competitive spirit. Great for the heart and muscles.

An evening of dancing and socializing. Everyone 18 years of age & over welcome. Regular dances 1st. Saturday of the month with great bands. Held at Mirror Lake Centre. Dance admission: Member $12, guest $14. Lunch is at 10:30 p.m.

We believe no kid should be left on the sidelines and all should be given the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of organized sports. KidSport provides support to children in order to remove financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport.

The Rose City Curling Club supports the physical, mental and social well-being of our community members by promoting curling programs for all ages, abilities and skill levels. We aim to reach into and take part in the vibrant community of Camrose by creating and operating exciting public events for everyone to enjoy! We offer curling at all levels from competitive, to beginner and recreational, with a fantastic youth program. If you are interested in curling, reach out to us today!

No special skills are necessary for square dancing. It is not a competitive recreation. It involves a "set" of eight people moving to commands given by the caller. Anyone can learn. There is no age limit to enjoy square dancing and it's good, healthy exercise. Visitors are welcome.

The skateboard park is located immediately north of the Community Centre at 4516-54 Street, on the Rudy Swanson Recreation Park grounds (53 Street and 44 Avenue). Assisted by the generosity of the Camrose Rotary Club and others, the skateboard park was completed in the spring of 2004 and provides boarders a place to challenge their skills. Designed with the direct input of local boarders and consisting of a variety of bowls, rails, ramps, pipes, stairs, and other features, the skateboard park was designed for both novice and experienced boarders.
