SSA Camrose Branch provides peer support and resources to people living with schizophrenia. The branch can also provide access to support for their family members, caregiver and friend. Programs are available in person, online and individual phone support is also available. Studies have shown that peer support plays an important role in recovery for those living with schizophrenia and their family members and caregivers. The SOS program offers information and support to seniors and their families in order to access programs, services and resources locally, provincially and federally. Programs providing support range from housing, transportation, elder abuse, financial supports, public and private pensions to Blue Cross. Free income tax filing program available year round. Free delivery of groceries, food bank hampers, prescriptions, library items to seniors as well as doorstep receipt submission to Alberta Seniors Benefit. Monthly coffee and information sessions.
