Members of the Camrose Police Service are trained and dedicated professionals who are responsible for serving the public and providing quality police and public safety services on a 24/7/365 basis. We are committed to community needs as we pursue our mission of "public safety through policing excellence".

Provides support, information and referrals to victims of crime and trauma in the City of Camrose.

Operates a 22 bed emergency shelter offering a safe and trauma-informed space for women and children escaping domestic violence, in a crisis situation or who may be homeless. Beyond basic needs (food, clothing, shelter), services include supportive listening, advocacy, referrals to community agencies, life skills groups; danger assessments and safety planning. The Shelter has an on-site school, grades 1 - 12, and a licensed on-site daycare program. The Outreach Program offers support for women leaving Shelter to living in the community, including HOPE Group, educational programs and cooking classes. Women and families within Camrose and surrounding rural communities can also access Outreach services without having to stay in-Shelter. Supportive listening and education for children and youth who have experienced or witnessed family violence are also available. The Canadian Red Cross Personal Disaster Assistance Team may provide emergency food, clothing, accommodation and personal services for up to 72 hours to individuals and families following an assessment, who have been affected by local, small-scale disasters such as a house fire.

Neighbor Aid Center works together with local churches and community to help those in need. Serving those residing in Camrose and Camrose County. Visit the website for full description of services. Under contract to the Provincial Government to provide assistance to the general public residing in Camrose County to victims of crime and trauma, to other agencies, and to enforce federal and provincial statutes.

Dedicated to providing hope and support, The Open Doors offers a wide range of services designed to foster holistic well-being for individuals and families in need. These programs include Basic Needs and Nourishment, providing food and essential supplies, and Workforce Development and Support, equipping participants with the skills and resources needed to achieve sustainable employment. Integrated Justice and Support Programs focus on crime prevention, restorative justice, and victim support services.

Our Community Wellness and Support initiatives feature 24/7 crisis helplines, harm reduction services, and accessible counseling, with an emphasis on supporting youth and families. Comprehensive Navigation Services guide individuals through complex systems to access vital resources, while Specialized Training and Education Initiatives, such as the Community Helpers Program, empower community members with peer support and mental health crisis management skills. Through these interconnected programs, The Open Doors reaffirms its commitment to addressing the diverse needs of the community, ensuring that no one is left without support.
