Camrose Adult Learning Centre is a grassroots community-based nonprofit society funded by the Alberta Government to provide, promote, and increase access to adult foundational (Grade 1-9 level) learning opportunities in areas such as Adult Literacy, Numeracy, Skills for Learning.
We offer Basic Digital Skills, English Language Learning, and Community Capacity Building. We also offer a CAEC (formerly known as GED) Prep Course that prepares adult learners to write the CAEC Exam.
We deliver quality community-based adult learning opportunities by removing barriers (financial and others) to meet adults' learning and employability needs. At Camrose and Area Adult Learning Centre, we seek to help foundational adult learners by providing a service in a welcoming and non-judgmental environment.

A Men’s Shed (or Shed) is a community-based organization that provides a casual space for men to connect, socialize and work on projects together that can benefit their community. Shoulder to Shoulder - somewhere to go, something to do, someone to talk to. In other words, men come together to tinker, tell stories, and hang out for good fun and (often) good food!
Meetings are held Thursdays, 12:00 to 2:00pm at Camrose & District Centennial Museum's Old Timer's Hut - 4522-53 Street, Camrose. Coffee and snacks provided.
The name “Men’s Shed” comes from the idea of a backyard shed where you can go to make and mend. Men’s Sheds are like that, only you’re there together with others where friendships are built, knowledge is shared, and connections are made. Joining a Shed is easy, and they’re always happy to welcome new members — or as we like to call them, Shedders.
