The Red Cross Babysitting course has been refreshed and revised, now with a greater emphasis on First Aid skills.  The Canadian Red Cross Babysitting course covers everything from managing difficult behaviours to essential content on leadership and professional conduct as a babysitter.  Babysitting promises to deepen and enhance the responsibility that older youth feel when caring for younger children. This updated curriculum provides improved learning when it comes to giving the appropriate care in the event of an emergency.

Real-world scenarios often call on children to respond to challenges.  The Red Cross Safe program teaches applicable and age-appropriate skills, while increasing and reinforcing a youth’s capacity to improve his or her own safety. Whether in their community or on their own, this groups will be given better tools to Stay Safe in a variety of different situations.

Playschool provides a safe and stimulating environment where children ages 3-5 years learn through play, crafts, and instruction. Serves children from Bawlf and surrounding communities; program runs on Monday, Wednesday and some Fridays from 9:00 a.m. – noon.  Out-of-School Program – after school care for children in K – grade 6, Monday through Friday until 6:30 p.m.

The Rose City Curling Club will promote youth, family and healthy competition in the spirit of fun and good curling. Curling is a great game for all ages. We are a very active club and as such we are able to offer a wide variety of league play, to allow all skill levels to play and have fun.  Recreational and Corporate rental opportunities are available.  If you have any questions please contact the curling rink for more details.

Rose City Roots Music Society is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the arts and culture community in rural Alberta by bringing exciting live-music to downtown Camrose.

No special skills are necessary for square dancing. It is not a competitive recreation. It involves a “set” of eight people moving to commands given by the caller. Anyone can learn. There is no age limit to enjoy square dancing and it’s good, healthy exercise. Visitors are welcome.

Youth organization, enrolling 12-14 yr olds interested in aviation and Canadian Armed Forces.

The Royal Canadian Army Cadets are one component of the Canadian Cadet Movement, a youth organization for all Canadians aged 12 – 18. The aims of the movement are to develop in youth the attributes of good leadership and citizenship, promote physical fitness and stimulate an interest in the Canadian Forces.

Founded for the cause of the veterans, Legion structure has led to community service. Legion is non-profit, dues-supported, no financial assistance from any outside agency. Legion supports programs for seniors, community, housing, Long Term Care, youth, education, sports, Cadets, Guides and Scouts.

Under contract to the Provincial Government to provide assistance to the general public residing in Camrose County to victims of crime and trauma, to other agencies, and to enforce federal and provincial statutes.
