Aims to support adults and their families experiencing the effects of acquired brain injury. Assists survivors, their families & caregivers to access supports & resources in the community. Serves Camrose & area.

Altin is a registered Psychologist and provides confidential psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, attachment, complicated bereavement, communication skills, work or family stress related, or any other struggles that impairs a person's functioning and prevents from living a rich and meaningful life. Altin has received training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), DBT, CBT, Complex PTSD, Certified EMDR, Certified sex Therapy Informed Professional, and Solution Focused Therapy, which binds with a humanistic approach for best outcomes. Services are offered in person and/or virtual.

Action for Healthy Communities is a not-for-profit settlement organization. We are funded by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada. Our job is to help newcomers to Canada (immigrants and refugees). If you came to Canada from another country, even if you came to Canada several years ago, we can help you. We work with children, teenagers, and adults. Our services are based on your needs and can include support with: school; jobs; learning English; applying for government programs; completing required paperwork; making connections and participating in the community; learning about Canadian systems; and accessing services that are available locally (in Camrose and area). Our programs are free and confidential (we can provide interpretation and translation, as needed).

Help for problems with gambling, alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.

Helps individuals & families examine substitute decision making options for vulnerable adults; including personal directives, supported decision making, co-decision making & guardianship. Assistance in completing Adult Guardianship & Trusteeship Act forms. Serves Camrose and surrounding area.
